Yet another feather to the cap of Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Deptt of ECE has organized a Guest Lecture on “ Optical Communication and Network ” on 28th December. The guest lecture was delivered by the eminent speaker, Dr. Manisha Bharti, Assistant Professor, NIT, Delhi. The lecture was attended by 16 Faculty members and 5 Staff members of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department.
Dr Bharti said that Today applications broad bandwidth signal transferring with less suspension is a vital necessity. It offers immense and incomparable transmission information measure within important dormancy, and presently the medium of transmission of selection for high data rate transmission and elongated distance in telecommunication networks. She also elaborated the importance of Optical fibers in 5G technologies.
Head of Department, ECE said, that Optical communication is one of the emerging communication technology in recent years and there is dire necessity of the time to explore the topic and to upgrade our knowledge in this area. He suggested that more number of guest lectures are required for the overall development of faculty members. The department of ECE is committed to being at the forefront of upcoming technologies and learning new skills so that the same should be transferred to the students at their lectures.
